Privacy Policy

RoosterReps is operated by EverestAssembly LLC ("we", "us").
The short version
RoosterReps has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and we never receive your camera data, alarms or workout history. Those stay on your phone. The one exception is purchases: if you buy or manage a subscription, purchase information is processed as described under Purchases below.
Camera
The app uses your camera to count your reps. Frames are analyzed on your device in real time. Video and images are never recorded, stored or uploaded, and no pose data leaves your phone.
Data stored on your device
Your alarms, streaks, history and settings are stored locally on your phone. We do not have access to them. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Alarms and permissions
To ring reliably, the app asks for permissions such as exact alarms, notifications, displaying over the lock screen, and running a foreground service while an alarm rings. These are used only to ring and manage your alarms.
Challenge links
A challenge is encoded in the link itself (the reps, an optional message and the sender's name). It is shared through your phone's share sheet. When someone opens a link on the web, our web server receives the link address as in any web request, and our hosting provider may keep standard access logs. We do not use the contents for anything else.
Purchases
Subscriptions are billed by Google Play. To unlock Pro features we use RevenueCat, a subscription service built into the app. When the app checks or changes your subscription, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier, your purchase and subscription status, and technical information such as your device type, app version and IP address. This is not linked to a name or email address because the app has no accounts. We never see your payment card details; Google Play handles those. RevenueCat's own privacy policy describes how it handles this data.
What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad trackers
- No analytics or crash-reporting services (purchase processing above is the only third-party service)
- No selling of data, and no sharing beyond the purchase processing described above
Children
RoosterReps is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
